The Hon. Robyn Parker
The Hon. Robyn Parker is a highly respected senior member of the NSW Liberal Party, bringing with her twelve years experience as a member of the NSW Parliament.
During her distinguished political career Robyn served as a Minister in the O’Farrell Government and as Vice President of the NSW Liberal Party.
As NSW Minister for the Environment and Minister for Heritage, Robyn introduced lasting reform to the State’s Environmental Protection Authority, oversaw the introduction of innovative programs to reduce waste going to landfill and established the first science-based approach to the protection of threatened species in the State.
During her time in Parliament, Robyn was a key member of multiple Parliamentary committees and has a strong understanding of public policy review processes and the administrative functions of government agencies.
Robyn has first-hand experience of government decision making and has led a major ageing, disability and health organisation as CEO. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, organisational change management and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to entering politics Robyn’s earlier career was in the fields of child and family services and tertiary education.
A passionate champion for rural and regional communities, Robyn has an astute understanding of agribusiness and regional development issues, representing the electorate of Maitland in Parliament.
Robyn provides internal advice to Counsel House and its clients and is based out of the Sydney office.
